The “Voice-Alteration” Syndrome

June 30th, 2007 by silent-prophet

Ok…. yet another unblog blog… This is the "Voice-Alteration" Syndrome post. This story goes…

Like any other young boys in a little island, a tenor have to abandon his freedom of rotting at home and choristing on weekends to yet another little island to provide his duty to his island kingdom. There goes his hair, save for every remaining 1mm… a small fee of SGD 2 was given in return for the 10 sec hair cut by island dwellers.

He experienced what most boys in that little island do: eattrainseattraineattrainsleepeattrainseattraineattrainsleepeattrainseattraineattrainsleepeattrainseattraineattrainsleepeattrainseattraineattrainsleep…

In that little island(the one that is smaller than the little island), nobody talks, everyone shout… songs were sung only in melody and disharmony, not in harmony… going off tune and changing key suddenly is the type of music structure there… this (the smaller little island) is a life shut up(almost) from the little island…

Now here comes the "Voice-Alteration" Syndrome. It is what most tenors in the smaller little island will have. Hack with the basses there… they are immune to it… This is a kind of illness that even the Medical Officials in the Smaller Little Island Medical Centre can do nothing to save the tenors from. Not even their free medications and MCs and status will help. Its AN INCURABLE DISEASE…

Somehow a miracle will happen… wahahaha… Booking in soon…

Crapology

October 25th, 2006 by silent-prophet

Crapology: the study of human humour and lame behaviour through word structures.

Examplars:

1. Crabs are the first to crap(agree?)…hence the name itself…a change of the letter ‘b’ to ‘p’ is probably a letter pun.

2. Did the cat really died of curiousity?…nine times?

3. A mocking bird is nature’s sound recorder and it is highly portable.

4. A party animal (Animale partito) is probably the only survivng/legal creature of the animal kingdom to be allowed into pubs and bars

(more examplars coming soon!)

There are many criticism and arguments about the relevance of crapology… comments can often be too out of the point or even hostile in this blogging world…but whats the whole point of crapology?…if you understand it…you will not even argue about the significance of it in the first place as the whole idea is pointless…however it will serves as a good topic if you run out of things to write in your blog…of course, one must note that the same elephant was known to various blind men differently:)

Now those days are gone…

Yeah…just rmb to mention about the $6 Ba Chou Mee…well addition charge for fame rite?……..when it actually tasted the same as a $2.50 one at any place…but of course this stall gives u a piece of salted fish with lots of de kua…take away orders are the same as dinning in…with a durable plastic tupperware…….cool huh?………. so much for something just to fill your stomach…Someone please rediscover the Mana machine!!!

Gone is the IMF and WB meeting @ Suntec Singapore…gone were the foreign delegates…gone were the Smiling Citizens…gone were the plants…gone were the ‘more-than-tight-enough’ security…and so ends our 2 weeks of fame haha…But, do will we, the smiling citizens get to obtain the leftover goodie bags??? …………. Enjoy!………We’e uphold the principle of democracy…of freedom!…….to express………therefore no freedom to demo(strate)……but just to impress……….cool!….isn’t it?

At last! 2 days more to Sem 2!!! …… can’t wait for the final project…but still haven’t learn autocad…omg….should have spend more time learning cad and plants……..so much for being a landscape architect to-be!

11 days to sem 2!!! … felt really tired this few weeks… guess I’ve not yet recovered from the ‘post-project’ fatigue…maybe that’s the reason why I’ve worked only for 1 week and decided to rot at home for three weeks…

Been reading books by Eric Von Deniken’s and other respective’s topics so far… got to complete 8 books within next week and I greediy pursue the thirst for knowledges…meanwhile learning carolling songs(damn…tenor parts are so strange in this year’s repertoire!…guess I’ll just have to keep listening to the midis…been trying to compose(rearrange) Bee Gees’ "How Deep Is Your Love" recently…it proves to be tedious for a non-musician like me…therefore a music idiot like me should rely on technology to survive :)…didn’t really care about the arrangement for the different parts…for now, I just wanna complete the song as a whole…this is my first attempt…perhaps after listening to choo’s piece I’ve sort of inspired to arrange my own…perhaps 1 day it can be sung:) Really hope to bring back the five of us to sing this song, and hopefully with more songs to come… I think our "Sukiyaki" is still the best but we can make better rite?

Can’t believe I’m actually writing a blog!…

(If you happen to see this please note this is not a place where you will read about the everyday life of the blogger… you will be wasting your time surfing the web"(-_-)…

Please go to www.juanaexon.blogspot.com for my previous entry but I guess the topics discussed there are actually more to do with school’s assignment…

The everyday life of an average man is already so complicated and yet we have to publish the things we do and our thoughts of everyday life into a virtual memory readily accessible to netizens around the world…

Life is a mistake without music…

Meanwhile…to my fellow Singaporeans: please continue to smile for the whole of this week and beyond…this is a national service :)
